Bresco Broadband is one of the founding members of the Ohio IX Internet Exchange. The Ohio IX was created to keep local data local within Ohio. Ohio IX members exchange network traffic locally, reducing latency and router hops, increasing reliability, and significantly improving performance for Bresco Broadband customers. As of June 1, 2018 Bresco Broadband is now peered with three Internet Exchanges. Bresco most recently peered with the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX) point in Chicago. By increasing our peering it shortens customers path to streaming, downloads, and major web services on the Internet. This also adds another 10 Gig of capacity to the Bresco Broadband network.
